Meeting Dates

The trustees meet the second and last Mondays of each month. All meetings are held at the Twp. house on the corner of TR148 & TR179 and begin at 8:30AM. The public is welcome to attend.

 


Zoning

Our township is zoned.  2012 construction building permits remain at $100, addition permits are $50.  If you are planning any building construction, reconstruction, new fences, etc… please call Joe Nieset before you start!

Special Notice Regarding Your Fire & Emergency Services

From: Green Springs Fire Department

                The Green Springs Fire Department in efforts to better serve the residents of our fire District are offering two new services.  The First will assist Police, Fire, and EMS in locating residences in the area by providing reflective address signs to residents.  These signs need to be mounted near the roadway in front of each residence.  They are able to be purchased from the Fire department directly for a cost of $10 which covers the cost of the sign. They also can purchase them from the Corner Drive thru here in Green Springs. 

                The second is the Fire Department is offering smoke detectors free of charge to anyone in our fire district who has a need for them.  We would like to see several working smoke detectors in every home.  If you are in need of either of these lifesaving items please contact us at chief@greenspringsfire.com, 419-639-2222, or you can stop by the station any Monday night between the hours of 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm. 


Notice: Meeting times have been changed for 2012.

NEW 2012 Meeting times are as follows.

The Meetings will continue to be held on the second and last Monday of each month but the meetings will be called to order at 8:30 amThe following exceptions apply.  The last meeting in May will be held Tuesday, May 29th at 8:30 am and the second meeting in July will be held on Tuesday, July 31 at 8:30am.  The 2013 Re-organizational meeting will be held immediately following the regularly scheduled meeting on December 31, 2012.

Recycle dumpsters are available 24Hrs a day 7 Days a week at the Twp. House.

Accepted items include: Rinsed out steel food cans, soda cans, plastic bottles, glass bottles, jars, & bundled newspapers. No Labels, Caps or Lids. No need to separate items.

NO GARBAGE!

 


Is Your Mailbox Safe?

As winter approaches, check the placement of your mailboxes. Make sure they are set back off the road to avoid the snowplows.

 


Road Program

The 2012 Road Program will consist of resurfacing TR. 169, beginning at CR. 44 and headed north ¾ mile, utilizing the Issue I Grant Program.
